Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the world's leading contract chipmaker, is accelerating its production in the United States to meet the skyrocketing demand for advanced chips used in artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC). This move comes on the heels of a historic $100 billion investment in US manufacturing, announced earlier this year alongside President Donald J. Trump. TSMC's commitment includes building three new fabrication plants, two advanced packaging facilities, and a research center in Arizona. The company has reported that its first Arizona fab is on track for high-volume manufacturing by the fourth quarter of this year, with yields comparable to its Taiwan operations. AI-Driven Demand Fuels TSMC's Growth

TSMC is also ramping up its production of advanced nodes, with 3nm technology contributing 22 percent of wafer revenue, up from just 9 percent a year ago. Additionally, the company is accelerating construction on its second Arizona fab to focus on 3nm production, responding to strong interest from clients.
