The day kicks off with a noon ceremony featuring performances by Amanda Marshall, Garou, Thompson Egbo-Egbo, Rafaëlle Roy, and Alli Walker. This opening event sets the tone for a day filled with cultural showcases and community engagement, highlighting the diversity that defines Canada. Additional festivities are planned at three other locations around the Capital Region, ensuring multiple opportunities for residents and visitors to join in the celebrations.

The highlight of the day will be the evening concert at LeBreton Flats Park, starting at 8 p.m. and running until 10 p.m. Eastern Time. This national evening show, broadcast on CBC, CBC News Network, and CBC Gem, aims to bring Canadians together through music.
